diseases and immune disorders.SummaryLead the strategic development
of US external and internal communications across assigned Daiichi
Sankyo oncology antibody drug conjugates (ADCs) and other potential
US medicines. Partner with global and regional corporate
communications colleagues as needed to execute US-specific
communications strategies and programs.Responsibilities-Function as
US corporate communications lead for assigned products, responsible
for developing and executing pre-launch, launch and post-launch
public relations strategy activities and programs-Develop and
obtain appropriate approval of communications materials (press
releases, QAs, fact sheets) for external, internal and/or social
media use-Prepare for potential issues that may arise and impact
product or company reputation by developing statements and
QAs-Assist in counseling and preparing company spokespeople for
media interviews and responding to media inquiries-Ensure all media
interactions comply with company policies and procedures-Build,
collaborate and maintain strong network of cross-functional and
cross-regional teams across all levels of company including but not
limited to global and US corporate communications, investor
relations, RD, global and US medical affairs and marketing, legal,
regulatory, congress planning and advocacy- Liaise as necessary
with PR and/or other representatives from business
development/partner companies, EEs, advocacy groups, and media
stakeholders- Manage internal and external departmental budgets and
resources for assigned ADCs, including communications agencies,
freelances and contingent workers to ensure successful development
and implementation of communications strategies and
programsQualifications: Successful candidates will be able to meet
the qualifications below with or without a reasonable
accommodation.Education Qualifications (from an accredited college
or university)- Bachelor's Degree in relevant discipline
requiredExperience Qualifications- 7 or More Years in
communications or other related positions required- Experience in
oncology communications requiredTravelAbility to travel up to 10%
This position will need to periodically travel in the US (and
potentially globally) for internal and external meetings and
medical conferences, remote company meetings and stakeholder
