Our Role: PGIM's Investment Operations is part of PGIM Operations and Innovation and provides recordkeeping, accounting, reporting and technology services for the investment portfolios supporting the Insurance Companies. Additionally, we support all investment data for the Chief Investment Officer and the Chief Risk officer for Prudential. The Mortgage Loans Reporting team within the Investment Reporting Unit in the PGIM O&I is looking for an Associate Manager. We are responsible for providing accounting, financial reporting, and recordkeeping support for Prudential and its subsidiaries. The financial reporting is performed on a Statutory and GAAP basis. You will specifically support the following asset type: Mortgage Loans. Support functions consist of reconciling, reporting, and analyzing mortgage loan positions and transactions by utilizing the Strategy/Loan Connect sub-ledger system, and the General Ledger (Oracle). The Associate Manager is accountable for the application of accounting rules and practices as appropriate for the various portfolios and asset types. Responsibilities Include: Supervising a staff of 1 or more Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual Statutory and GAAP based reports that are used in the firm's regulatory filings Completing quarterly and annual Schedule B and associated schedules and footnotes Preparing annual Surveys from external rating agencies i.e., Moody's, S&P and AM Best Preparing and reviewing monthly reconciliations for asset and income accounts Documenting and executing procedures for any new reporting requirements pertaining to Mortgage Loans Completing various ad-hoc requests that are received from internal clients and business partners Support enterprise initiatives and special projects as needed Support internal and external audits Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent work experience 4-6 years of experience of investment reporting experience Strong supervisory and leadership skills Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Strong computer/technical skills, primarily with Microsoft Excel Knowledge of GAAP and Statutory investment accounting Knowledge of Oracle General Ledger would be considered a plus Self-motivated and proactive, with good communication and time management skills Demonstrates ability to deliver high quality results Note: Prudential is required by state specific laws to include the salary range for this role when hiring a resident in applicable locations. The salary range for this role is from $85,000 to $115,000. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills. Roles may also be eligible for additional compensation and/or benefits. Eligibility to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program is subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
