You just found it.Job OverviewThe Sr. Manager Sales Compensation will lead sales compensation budgeting, planning, design and implementation in partnership with Senior Leadership. The Sr. Manager will collaborate with senior leadership to model sales compensation programs to attract, reward, recognize and motivate high performing sales employees in a competitive environment. This position will lead strategic conversations with senior and executive management and provide data based solutions to influence decisions for future plan design and policies. The Sr. Manager will be responsible to provide leadership updates on plan performance while providing relevant metrics and reports. This position will develop the team to facilitate accurate and timely sales comp calculations, analysis and reporting as well as streamlining processes.Job Responsibilities And Essential DutiesManage, coach and develop the Sales Compensation team including setting goals, objectives, performance management, and training and development.Work with internal and external partners to define and implement relevant compensation metrics and dashboards to assist leadership in managing the business and making data-driven decisions.Partner with Sales, Finance, HR, and Legal in the development, design, and implementation of sales compensation programs and policies to support Getinge Group's business strategy by introducing systems and databases that help with creating efficiency and accuracy.Own the annual sales compensation budgeting process providing updates on a monthly basisResearch sales compensation/performance results and make recommendations using the compensation commission system, or other systems as appropriate.Collaborate with the sales team on escalated compensation issues by providing insights and analysis.Investigate sales compensation issues thoroughly, review practices, propose revisions and trends and recommends solutions to solve problems; sees issues through to resolution.Counsel management on pay decisions, compensation practices, and policy and guideline interpretation. Influence decision-making process and final outcome by providing detailed analysis/models.Develop and communicate innovative recommendations and expert advice to senior management and HR Business Partners. Reviews and approves proposed salary changes, such as, merit worksheet management, Management Incentive Bonus (MIB) retention administration and position assignments for conformance to established guidelines to ensure internal and external equity .Ensure that the Sales Compensation team develops and implements comprehensive and streamlined communication documents and processes as it relates to all sales compensation related changes and statements to the Field.Lead and/or provide direction on the delivery and content of presentations and training to introduce and communicate to the Field in Sales Compensation changes, provisions, explanations and organizational directives.Minimum RequirementsBachelor's Degree in Business or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.A minimum of 12 years of experience in a Sales Compensation role.A minimum of 5 years in a supervisory management role.Experience working with a Field Sales team and senior management.Background in medical device industry preferred.Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and Access and intermediate skills in Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.Required Knowledge, Skills And AbilitiesAbility to mentor, coach and lead a team to meet goals, objectives and implement change.Ability to prepare and present various reports and analysis to Senior ManagementSAP and /or COGNOS knowledge required; knowledge of dashboard tools such as PBI preferredExcellent quantitative, critical thinking, analytical and organizational skills required.Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with different levels of managementAbility to effectively manage multiple priorities and ensure excellent attention to detail.Advanced skills in databases in Microsoft Office Excel, Access and Power Point.May work extended hours during peak business cycles.
