Job Description:
POSITION SUMMARY: This role integrates business development,
project planning, and development execution throughout the product
lifecycle. This team member will act as a central interface-
defining and prioritizing requirements from Key Accounts while
working closely with engineering, sales, marketing, and operations
to ensure revenue growth and product deliverable goals are met. -
-ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Defines project scope and schedule, partnering with engineering
and operations for resource allocation and with customer
stakeholders to ensure satisfaction
- Maintains visibility on active projects, driving development
milestones and deliverables to schedule and maintaining
communication between all internal and external stakeholders
- Manages product/project requirements, including hardware
deliveries as well as artifacts of design validation, operations
maturity, and quality confirmation
- Builds strong customer partnerships, acting as primary point of
contact and company ambassador to capture new business and drive
new product developments
- Drives and supports sales team with respect to the (design win,
opportunity) pipeline to close new business for strategic Key
accounts.
- Leads and supports customer on-site meetings.
- Develops detailed technical proposals for power supply modules
and power system solutions in the pursuit of business development
to grow revenue, and in responses to RFI/RFQs
- Engages with professional technical organizations and
associations related to the product line and market segment.
- Identifies opportunities for cross-selling with other Business
Units.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- No direct reports but requires the ability to influence sales,
support, and engineering organizations to meet product
requirements, launch window, and revenue growth
goals.Qualifications
- This position requires a Bachelor's degree Engineering, (EE,
ME, CE) - MBA is desirable.
- Aptitude for requirements development through customer
interaction, competitive benchmarking and market analysis.
- Must possess a firm understanding of product development
process and life cycle.
- Must be able to multitask and manage multiple programs at the
same time.
- Excellent writing and verbal skills required for proposal
creation and presentation to customers.
- This role requires fluency in writing, speaking, and
understanding English as effective communication of product
concepts and attributes to customers as well as the direct sales
team is critical. Capability with a second language highly
desirable.
- The successful candidate for this position will demonstrate
well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills, necessary to
evaluate complex market scenarios and driven product attributes to
meet market and customer expectations. This role consistently works
with abstract ideas or situations across many functional areas of
the business. Through assessment of intangible variables, the
individual in this role identifies and evaluates fundamental
issues, providing leadership and direction to internal
organizations to guide development and win new business.
- Travel up to 25%
