This Customs & Transportation Manager position is for you, if you would Enjoy:
--- Overseeing all Customs related functions, compliance and transportation related to goods movement into and out of our local warehouses across the USA
--- Supporting our U.S.A. Duty Free operations
--- Fully Remote!

Your Team is counting on you as a Customs & Transportation Manager to:
--- Provide assertive day-to-day leadership, management and guidance to clearance team and local operations related to customs clearances and compliance.
--- Prepare types 01 (Consumption), 21 (Warehouse), 22 (Re-warehouse), 31 (Withdrawal) Customs entries via ABI/Editrade or other similar type software for all inbound shipments into our local warehouses.
--- Liaise with Supply Chain, Miami DC, local warehouses, vendors, freight forwarders and all governing bodies such as CBP and FDA to ensure the smooth, effective and safe flow of goods through our Supply Chain.
--- Establish all customs compliance requirements within USA.
--- Direct and monitor import/export compliance processes and procedures.
--- Ensures customs data (US HTS codes, COO, MID, etc) is accurate for all products in ERP system.
--- Support Customs approval of Class 9 Bonded Warehouse for new opportunities
--- Work closely with local warehouse/operations team to ensure all bonded goods movement are applied to a customs entry and all entries are closed and submitted within 30 days of the last goods movement
--- Manage the transportation calendar related to scheduled orders from main Miami DC to each operation
--- Conduct monthly customs checks, identify customs risks and prevent and mitigate violations, implementing any corrective and preventative actions
--- Performs all other responsibilities as directed by the business or leadership team of which the team member is capable of performing.
--- Work a full-time schedule

Customs & Transportation Manager Key Accountabilities:
--- Responsible for all customs responsibilities and compliance related to the movement of goods into and out of our local warehouses
--- Lead a cross country clearance team to process all customs entries into our bonded warehouses
--- Coordinate transportation into and out of our local warehouses
--- On time customs clearances
--- On time submission of all US Customs folders
--- Standardization of all customs processes across all locations
--- Freight costs tracking and management

Key Relationships:
--- Key suppliers including Miami DC
--- US Customs & Border Protection
--- Supply Chain
--- Operations
--- Master Data

Required Qualifications:
--- 3-5 years of experience in transportation and customs clearance
--- Excellent Excel skills
--- Excellent Microsoft Excel skills
--- SAP experience preferred
--- Customs brokerage clearance experience and use of US Customs ABI clearance software such as Descarte Editrade an asset
--- Results-oriented, motivated, self-starter; owns problems and drives them to resolution
--- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
--- Thinks systematically and across boundaries to understand implication of data & actions
--- Ability to manage staff remotely
