Job Description:

  • Analyze and evaluate current procurement processes and policies and, where necessary, propose further improvements
  • Support the ongoing ERP implementation (SAP by Design)
  • Identify and suggest vendors for the different bids, and work with Project Leaders to draft complex RFX's (RFI, RFQ, RFP)
  • Manage the entire RFP timeline and process including outreach activities, RFP advertisements and solicitations following company policies, PANYNJ policies, and governmental regulations
  • Regularly communicates with leadership regarding matters of importance to the function or business area
  • Be the point of contact for management for all RFP, RFQ and RFI requests
  • Participate in vendor evaluation meetings, facilitate communications of awards, prepare debrief session, assist Legal with the preparation of contract documents as necessary
  • Manage and maintain the Bonfire procurement platform, and train new users as needed
  • Assure the company is in full compliance with MWBE requirements provided by PANYNJ and promote relationships with local businesses and enterprises
  • Manage, setup, and process all purchase orders --- Manage the documentation of all procurement policies and procedures --- Ensure compliance with all company policies and guidelines and cooperate with the legal team to ensure compliance, as needed
  • Develop detailed reports for management
  • Review, monitor and ensure appropriate internal controls are in place regarding the procurement process
  • Assist with special projects and perform other duties as assigned
