Job Description:
- Analyze and evaluate current procurement processes and policies
and, where necessary, propose further improvements
- Support the ongoing ERP implementation (SAP by Design)
- Identify and suggest vendors for the different bids, and work
with Project Leaders to draft complex RFX's (RFI, RFQ, RFP)
- Manage the entire RFP timeline and process including outreach
activities, RFP advertisements and solicitations following company
policies, PANYNJ policies, and governmental regulations
- Regularly communicates with leadership regarding matters of
importance to the function or business area
- Be the point of contact for management for all RFP, RFQ and RFI
requests
- Participate in vendor evaluation meetings, facilitate
communications of awards, prepare debrief session, assist Legal
with the preparation of contract documents as necessary
- Manage and maintain the Bonfire procurement platform, and train
new users as needed
- Assure the company is in full compliance with MWBE requirements
provided by PANYNJ and promote relationships with local businesses
and enterprises
- Manage, setup, and process all purchase orders --- Manage the
documentation of all procurement policies and procedures --- Ensure
compliance with all company policies and guidelines and cooperate
with the legal team to ensure compliance, as needed
- Develop detailed reports for management
- Review, monitor and ensure appropriate internal controls are in
place regarding the procurement process
- Assist with special projects and perform other duties as
assigned
