We're offering this role on a full-time permanent basis.In your role, you will be responsible for enhancing and growing the BioPharma Production Revenue and Margins.   • Alongside the SVP Commercial of Global BioPharma production, contribute to the annual strategic planning process to produce the Annual Operating plan.
  • Drive the development of market-focused culture through the creation of global and regional marketing plans and launches
  • Develop the Annual and long-term Strategic Marketing plan incorporating the key themes of the Annual Operating Plan and extending these into the strategic and tactical Marketing elements to fulfill the plan
  • Alongside the VP of Production Strategy, develop Avantor's BioPharma production value proposition that meets global customer requirements and can be successfully incorporated globally into market development strategies.
  • Develop value propositions deeply rooted in each BioProcess step for all product lines, Chemicals, Single Use, Serum, and BioPharma services
  • Develop programs that maximise Share of mind in the areas of Cell & Gene Therapy, Monoclonal Antibodies, and mRNA application segments
  • Lead development of product positioning and branding integrated throughout all internal and external communications in coordination with Director of Biopharma Communications
  • Drive initial content development for customer-facing communications including but not limited to internal sales/commercial resource library assets like educational campaign materials, customer letters/MOC, customer-facing presentations, brochures, and videos
  • Lead technical Bioprocess training and product offering training for BioPharma commercial teams and broader regional sales teams on Bioprocessing
  • Benchmark competitive market landscape to understand Avantor's market position; recommending strategic acquisitions or agreements that create sustainable competitive advantage
  • Facilitate engagement with internal stakeholders: Operations (i.e. Supply Chain, Distribution, Supplier Management, Customer Care), Compliance (i.e. Quality, Regulatory, Sustainability), and the Avantor Services organizations to develop the capabilities needed to address customer requirements and develop a sustainable competitive advantage
  • Alongside the VP of Commercial Development, help drive appropriate level of Avantor involvement with industry professional organizations (i.e. BioProcess Intl., PhRMA, BPOG, Rx-360, IPEC, BPSA, BPE, DCAT, BIO,) to gain market intelligence, build important relationships, and enhance VWR's Bioprocessing brandWhat You'll Need:
    • College/University degree or equivalent experience; MBA or advanced degree preferred, along with several years experience in Life Sciences and Strategic Marketing
    • The capability to manage functionally diverse and remote teams
    • A track record of delivering results in a matrix-management organisational structure
    • Culturally aware and knowledgeable of diverse global geographies and business colleagues
    • Superior skills in analysis, planning, organization, communication, execution, and follow up
