About the Role:

Are you passionate about people and data? SkyHive is looking for an ambitious and self-driven Director of Talent Acquisition to join our team! As the Director of Talent Acquisition, you will design and oversee our hiring processes. You will be in charge of planning, developing, managing, and overseeing talent acquisition and recruitment processes and strategies. You will work closely with our external recruitment partners to manage sourcing, interviewing, and the entire hiring process to ensure a Gold Standard experience for every candidate.

As the Director of Talent Acquisition, you are an experienced HR expert with a keen understanding of practices and processes involved in acquiring and nurturing talent. You are an exceptional leader who leverages their knowledge and network to build the organization's potential.

Your Responsibilities:

  • You are the gatekeeper to ensuring we have the right people in the right roles at the right time and that their Key Success Factors align with SkyHive's OKRs.
  • You are obsessed with results and track recruiting metrics and KPIs (i.e., time to hire, cost per hire) as outlined in the OKRs for the People and Culture Department
  • Work with the Executive team to build a workforce plan to determine SkyHive's hiring needs
  • You have your pulse on top talent and know whose who, where they are and exactly how to find them!
  • You take pride in the ownership of the Hiring Process \[Planning to Pre-boarding\] and are constantly looking for ways to improve the candidate experience.
  • Lead the design and development of a world-class, leading-edge SkyHive hiring process
  • needs based on business growth plans
  • Lead and coach hiring managers on best practices for hiring \[Screening, Interviewing, Assessments\]
  • You are responsible for brokering the relationship with external Recruitment partners for key hires across the business and coordinating the entire hiring process from screening through to offer.
  • Build SkyHive's professional network through relationships with HR professionals, colleges, and other partners.
  • Design, plan, and execute employer branding activities in tandem with Marketing team and recommend ways to improve SkyHive's brand.
  • Participate in conferences, seminars, and career events as the evangelist of SkyHive.

      Qualifications:
      • BSc/BA in business administration, human resources or relevant field
      • Proven work experience as a Director of TA/Recruiting Manager, Recruitment Consultant, or Recruitment Coordinator
      • In-depth knowledge of full cycle recruiting and employer branding techniques.
      • Excellent verbal and written communication and team management skills
      • Strong decision-making skills
      • Result-driven
      • Ability to establish and maintain meaningful and long-lasting professional relationships.
      • A sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on the SkyHive's success
      • Bonus: Hands-on experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (Greenhouse) and HR databases (Humi)
      • Bonus: Experience with phone and in-person interviews, candidate screening, and evaluation
      • Bonus: Familiarity with social media and other professional networks (ie. LinkedIn)
