JOB TITLE: Account Manager, Brand Partnership
JOB SUMMARY:
The Account Manager, Brand Partnerships will be responsible for managing digital and in-store marketing programs on behalf of our Fortune 100 and Fortune 500 brand partners. You will work directly with the clients, internal stakeholders, and external stakeholders to fulfill the execution of the marketing and media program as outlined in the contract from beginning to end. Responsibilities include day-to-day communication with clients, maintaining project plans, hosting weekly status calls, and managing to program deadlines, and problem solving to ensure the marketing campaigns launch on-time and as planned. You will partner closely with both internal and external stakeholders as well as with BNC's nationwide network of 775+ college campus stores.
While this position's location is listed in Basking Ridge, NJ, we will also consider candidates working remotely based on the East Coast only.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Independently manage integrated marketing and media programs/campaigns serving as the direct point of contact with clients.
Manage client objectives, expectations, timelines and communicate changes/directions to internal team members.
Take ownership of client accounts and make independent decisions with thorough analysis of long-term impact.
Work integrally with key internal and external team stakeholders to facilitate the process of developing, executing, and recapping successful programs and activations on behalf of clients.
Strive to find more effective ways of working and challenge the status quo by re-evaluating existing methods and processes.
Manage to client budgets and work Manager of Client Services to manage expenses and deliverables.
Comprehensive and current knowledge of company offerings and industry trends.
Complies at all times with the Standards, policies and Code of Business Conduct and Ethics set out in the Bookseller Handbook.
REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS
4-7 years of client service/account management experience
Client-facing industry experience with proven track record of forming and nurturing strong client relationships
Candidate must have a passion for serving their clients with a "client-first" mentality
Self-motivated forward thinker with the ability to multi-task, efficiently manage time, adapt to change, and balance competing demands
Strong presentation skills (interpersonal, presentation, written and oral)
Strong attention to detail, deadlines, accuracy and quality of work
Strategic and innovative thinker
Ability to work as a team in a fast paced, high energy environment
Professionally relevant BA/BS degree
Travel minimum 15%

Maintain quality key account customers in assigned sales territory
Assisting strategic account director to develop and implement account business plans
Ensuring integrated customer account management
Expand relationships in existing accounts and develop new accounts
Developing overall client/account strategy
