more certainty. We're looking for a talented and results-oriented
Manager, Systems Test Engineering -to join our R&D department.
This role is designed for those with a passion for science and you
will part of an enthusiastic and dynamic team of outstanding
systems test engineers, and hardware/software/systems engineers who
work to design and develop Hologic's best-in-class products. The
ideal candidate will be someone who strives to understand how
complex hardware and software systems operate to find ways to
improve them. So what does this role involve?
- Lead a team of systems test engineers and work closely with
hardware/software developers, and architects to design, develop,
and test our next generation diagnostic systems.
- Own planning and execution of product design verification and
validation, including test plan development and management,
day-to-day prioritization, test environments, and cross-functional
- Oversee and participate in test execution and reporting.
- Identify product improvements and insist on the highest levels
of product quality.
- Apply and share knowledge of best practices in software,
hardware, and systems testing and test automation.
- Interface with external partners, providing day-to-day
oversight on project tasks and guidance on technical issues.
- Foster a positive and proactive work environment, emphasizing
respect, high standards of quality, teamwork, and strengths-based
leadership. To be considered for the role we expect the following
as a minimum expectation: Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in
Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or
related discipline. Other disciplines may be considered based on
experience. Experience: Our mission is to be a global champion, and

in science. We want to see your sustained record of driving and
engaging engineering teams to success. We would expect you to have
at least 7 years of software and/or systems testing experience, and
at least 3 years of recent test automation and/or software
development experience. Medical imaging or experience in an
FDA-regulated environment is preferred.
- You must have expert knowledge of systems quality assurance
methodologies, processes, and best practices, and exceptional
working knowledge of test automation and its application to
hardware and software environments.
- You have the ability to communicate technical concepts to a
non-technical audience, meet commitments across multiple
simultaneous projects and product lines, and demonstrate strong
project management skills.
