As part of Prudential's CFO organization, the Vice President, P&A and Head of Enterprise Expense, is a key leadership position that works closely with all of Prudential's businesses and corporate areas.--The position provides value-added and insightful analytics about the Company's expenses, serving as a primary interface with key members of finance and company senior leadership. The role also supports the company in evaluating growth opportunities and reducing our operating costs as part of a team powering the company's transformation. This role reports to the Corporate Controller and leads a high performing team of finance professionals with responsibility for the Corporate & Other segment finance team, the Expense Center of Excellence, and Transformation Office Finance. The position also leads the enterprise expense transformation. Responsibilities for this position include:

  • Provide leadership for over 100 financial professionals in the US and at our strategic sourcing partner in India
  • Partner with the Transformation Office to measure the company's transformation efforts
  • Guide the Expense COE in supporting Prudential's businesses and functions, driving a culture of expense discipline and providing support to senior leaders
  • Financial responsibility for the Corporate & Other Segment including support of qualified and non-qualified pension and other employee compensation and benefit plans, Prudential Foundation financials, and discontinued/divested businesses
  • Execute the enterprise expense transformation program leveraging NWoW
  • Administer enterprise expense policies and governance--
  • Member of SLT for Controllers, TO, and USB CFO
  • Position has significant interaction with Senior Management Qualifications:
    • Strong analytical abilities
    • Knowledge of GAAP
    • Strategic and capable of delivering new insights to senior management
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Ability to manage and develop staff
    • Ability to manage multiple projects and effectively prioritize
    • Ability to build collaborative relationships and influence them consistently without authority Comfortable presenting to, and interacting with, Senior Management Undergraduate/Graduate degree in business
