The role of Senior Global Marketing Manager for Atellica Chemistry
Chemistry Assays serves as a business leader for Siemens
incumbent is responsible for developing and implementing the
marketing strategy, commercialization plan, and clinical/scientific
for their assigned products. The Senior Global Marketing Manager is
for meeting or exceeding the business plan for the assigned
driving activities that support the efforts of the sales
organizations in the
countries. The individual represents the market, customer and
business needs in
order to ensure successful commercialization in line with the
plan for their products. This individual should be capable of
participating in and influencing cross functional teams governing
portfolio strategy, product health, and new product development
initiatives. Senior Global Marketing Manager must be
capable of leading cross functional teams to execute successful
commercialization of new and improved assays. Relationship
development with customers and
country sales and marketing organizations is needed to clearly
customer needs and translate those needs into actionable
engagement, support of, and strategizing with country marketing,
critical to the success of this role.
Senior Global Marketing Manager reports to, Central Lab Solutions,
Integrated Franchise - Chemistry Assay Head.
The individual is the primary interface to regions, countries,
end-users as well as interacts with cross-functional members of
Integrated Franchise and Atellica Solutions Franchise to achieve
the business objectives
of the responsible products. Strong
communication and interpersonal skills are required for successful
with members of all Business Line functions. This role actively
pulses the industry to
understand the competitive environment, anticipates market trends
and is capable of developing and presenting business proposals for
portfolio strategic initiatives.
--- Author and execute marketing plans and commercialization plans
assigned product portfolio.
--- Develop and communicate short- and long-term market strategy
--- Lead commercialization teams for successful development and
product launch plans and deliverables.
--- Define global pricing for assigned products.
--- Define target markets and create specific customer messaging
propositions for target customer segments
--- Identify and respond to trends impacting customers and markets
--- Identify and respond to competitors' strategies and products
with assigned products.
--- Collaborate with external agencies and internal colleagues to
impactful marketing campaigns that include market data, voice of
input, and country sales and marketing input.
--- Contribute to Requirements Trace Matrix (RTM) and financial
product development programs for assigned products.
--- Provide input and oversight to creation of training materials
for sales and
marketing in order to maximize execution of the commercialization
ensure achievement of the business objectives.
--- Contribute to the definition and prioritization of product
programs for assigned products. Create customer and internal
relative to product health initiatives in partnership with business
--- 10+ years of experience with previous Regional and/or Global
Experience (5 years)
--- Demonstrated success in the launch and commercialization of
--- Previous experience with in-vitro diagnostics
--- Previous sales success in a business to business environment,
healthcare, such as hospitals and reference laboratories
--- Analytical skills
--- Ability to work cohesively in a team or as an individual
