other locations will be considered This position of PGNES
(Precision Guided & Naval Electronic Systems) Senior Program
Manager reports to the Close Combat Systems (CCS) VP within the
Tactical Missiles (TM) line of business of Missiles and Fire
Control (MFC). The areas of responsibility includes Program
Management and team leadership for all Navy Instrumentation &
Controls (I&C) and Precision Guided Systems (PGS). What You
Will Be Doing As the Program Management Sr Manager you will be
responsible for leading the PGNES program, guiding cross functional
staff, and ensuring successful delivery of Navy instrumentation,
controls, and precision guided systems. Your responsibilities will
include: • Oversight of the PGNES Program Management staff,
significant management-level interaction with the Navy Nuclear
primary customer Bechtel Plant Machinery, Inc. (BPMI) , and overall
program performance (cost, schedule, and technical). • A working
knowledge of digital and analog systems, mechanical and
software/firmware design is necessary for program oversight and
customer stakeholder interaction. • Working knowledge of
development and production programs across several navy platforms
as well as logistics support. • A strong Program Management
background is required to provide staff guidance and development,
management oversight, early detection of adverse conditions, and
suggestions for necessary course corrections. • Excellent written
and oral communication, as well as presentation skills are required
for success. • Business development, business capture, and managing
customer relationships and expectations are also significant
aspects of the position. • The PGNES lead is also the site advocate
for all program needs , activities, and resources at Archbald site.
This role ensures product area objectives are met. • This role also
involves responsibilities interfacing with TSM/CCS leadership,
functional management and various staff member contacts located
outside Archbald. This contact includes supporting strategy
development, resource coordination, alignment with LOB and PGNES
objectives, support of business Long Range Planning (LRP), and
preparation/delivery of associated management presentations and
reports. • Skills required for these responsibilities include
effective communication and presentation skills, relationship
building (functions and individuals outside Archbald), and general
business acumen. Leading and managing with a minimal oversight and

This position is in Archbald. Discover more about our Archbald,
Pennsylvania location. MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is
located at a facility that requires special access. Basic
Qualifications • This position requires some travel; candidates
located outside the Archbald area should anticipate additional
travel of approximately 50% on a monthly basis. • Ability to obtain
a secret security clearance • Demonstrated Full Spectrum
Leadership, to include ability to gain the trust and respect of
leadership and employees and effectively manage people and teams •
Program or Project Management experience • Strong understanding of
business management fundamentals, financial metrics • Experienced
with SAP data collection/analysis - particularly relative to
forecasting and application of the system in analyzing program data
• Demonstrated experience in identifying and managing program risk
• Ability to formulate and execute recovery plans • Self-starter
and leading/managing with a minimum of oversight and direction •
Demonstrated customer relationship skills • Demonstrated oral,
written, and presentation skills Desired skills • Experience with
EVMS • 8-10 years experience in Program Management • Working
knowledge of Instrumentation & Control (I&C) Systems associated
with nuclear reactors • Advanced degree in business or a technical
discipline • Demonstrated experience in business development and
business capture • Experience in product development (electrical,
mechanical, and software design) • Experience in production
operations, manufacturing, and product engineering • Technical
knowledge or experience with Naval Nuclear Propulsion I&C
equipment and designs • Familiarity with Navy Nuclear Propulsion

Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position
will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their
work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The
specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring
process. Work Schedule Information Lockheed Martin supports a
variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional
flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40
hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed.
These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time
away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off
benefits. Security Clearance Information This position requires a
government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for
consideration. Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this
position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most
major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland,
Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is
$157,800 - $278,185. For states not referenced above, the salary
range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work
location. Please note that the salary information is a general

and business considerations when extending an offer. Benefits
