Job Description Job Description HVAC Technician – Job Description & Responsibilities We are seeking a reliable and skilled HVAC Technician to install, service, and maintain heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems for residential and light commercial customers. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, customer-focused, and able to work independently as well as part of a team. Responsibilities Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain HVAC systems including furnaces, hydronic boilers, air conditioners, heat pumps, and ductless mini-splits Perform preventative maintenance and system inspections Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues and recommend proper solutions Read and interpret wiring diagrams, blueprints, and technical manuals Test HVAC systems for proper operation, airflow, and efficiency Communicate clearly with customers regarding system issues, repairs, and maintenance options Maintain accurate service records and work orders Follow all safety procedures and local building codes Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicle in good condition Participate in on-call rotations as needed Qualifications 5 years HVAC experience preferred (or equivalent training/apprenticeship) Valid driver’s license and clean driving record Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in confined spaces Strong customer service and communication skills Preferred (but not required) Ductless/VRF experience NATE certification Compensation & Benefits Competitive pay based on experience Overtime opportunities Paid training and continuing education Company vehicle, tools, and uniforms Paid time off and holidays Company Description We are a growing Plumbing & HVAC company seeking skilled, dependable technicians to join our team.
