You will be joining a long-tenured and dynamic small Engineering
team consisting of 5 members and reporting directly into the
Engineering Manager. As a Mechanical Design Engineer you will:
Review customer specifications and create detailed part drawings
for one-off specials that are based on our standard product line.
Design and develop new mechanical and electro-mechanical products
from concept to detailed part drawings, in a timely manner with
minimal supervision. Create 3D CAD models and detailed 2D part
drawings using Inventor software package. (may be migrating to
Solidworks as well) Select materials and components Perform a
variety of related engineering duties (prepare BOM's, technical
user manuals, etc) Requirements Self motivated and detail oriented.
Good communication, problem solving and analytical skills. Basic
understanding of materials and manufacturing processes. Bachelor's
degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent engineering / design
related experience. 5-7 years of Engineering / design experience.
