Job Description:

hiring Quality Control Inspector in Clifton, NJ As a Quality
Control Inspector you will be: Responsible for the identification
and documentation of quality discrepancies related to assembly,
process, mechanical, electrical, and electro-mechanical systems.
Facilitates the implementation of standards, methods and procedures
for inspecting, testing and evaluating the precision, accuracy and
reliability of company products. Leads the preparation and
execution of internal audits within established manufacturing and
production controls to ensure compliance with internal and external
specifications and standards. Liaises with auditing groups and
inspectors to develop formal written reports, and recommend
corrective actions. Identifies trends in discrepancies and
collaborates with process owners on the refinement and optimization
of business processes. Oversees testing department activities and
work of inspectors. Reviews, approves, and controls work order flow
tags. Develops inspection techniques, tools, and supplemental
inspection instructions in support of standards, methods and
procedures. Participates in supplier corrective and preventative
actions, including: customer escapes, process nonconformities,
supplier corrective actions, customer and change control, and
material review board meetings. Intermediate professional with
practical knowledge of job area. Works under moderate supervision
to set objectives for own job area. Communicates with contacts
inside and outside own team to explain and interpret operational
processes, practices, and procedures Identifies and addresses
changes within own job area. Works to achieve operational targets
with some impact on departmental results. The ideal candidate will
have: Familiarization working in an ESD environment 3-5 years of
previous inspection experience Must have ability to read and
understand complex mechanical assembly drawings, schematics, wiring
diagrams and Engineering sketches, and the ability to read and
write in English. Must have a working understanding of print
structures to determine ?as built? vs. ?as designed?
configurations. Must be able to use instruments such as verniers,
micrometers, and height gages to measure and evaluate parts
dimensions. Also requires ability to use computers and microscopes.
Candidates with a military background work out well in this
environment. Working Knowledge of GDMT. General understanding of
IPC Standards. This is a 12 Month full time Contract or Contract to
hire opportunity. Pay Range : $28.00 - $31 per hour. *Pay range

including the candidate's education, work experience, work
