Applications & Service Manager to join our team in Danbury, CT.
This entry-level management role is ideal for someone ready to take
the next step into leadership while receiving strong support and
mentorship during the transition. The position is responsible for
managing and developing a team of Application Engineers and Service
Technicians, helping them navigate technical challenges and grow in
their careers. You’ll play a key role in overseeing project
execution, improving service operations, enhancing internal
training programs, and supporting cross-department collaboration.
We’re looking for someone who is both technically savvy and
people-focused—eager to build systems, streamline processes, and
ensure our customers and team receive top-tier support.
________________________________________ Key Responsibilities:
Provide hands-on leadership and mentoring to the Applications and
Service teams, supporting them with technical troubleshooting,
growth, and day-to-day project delivery. Manage the execution and
delivery of technical projects to ensure deadlines, budgets, and
quality standards are met. Design and lead technical training
initiatives for both internal staff and external partners (sales
reps, engineers, ATCs, etc.). Implement a structured RMA process
using our ERP platform to improve service responsiveness and issue
tracking. Support pre- and post-sales activities by collaborating
closely with our sales team and manufacturing reps to provide
technical guidance and ensure customer satisfaction. Read and
interpret engineering specs and drawings to assist in product
selection and proposal preparation. Contribute to product
reliability by identifying opportunities to automate and streamline
internal workflows. Represent the company at industry events and
trade shows. Collaborate across departments—product, marketing,
sales, and operations—to support product development and market
success. ________________________________________ Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering preferred (Associate’s degree with
2 years of relevant experience also considered). Strong technical
aptitude with a passion for solving HVAC-related challenges.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills—ability to
explain complex technical issues clearly and professionally.
Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with ERP systems is a
plus. Familiarity with HVAC/BAS systems, automation platforms, and
design software (Adobe InDesign/Photoshop) is a bonus. Strong
organizational and multitasking abilities; thrives in a fast-paced
