Job Description:

STV currently has an exciting opening in either our -Lawrenceville or Newark, NJ -offices for an Senior Engineer -in our Highway group. This position offers tremendous growth potential and advancement opportunity. You will have a great deal of schedule flexibility and will have the opportunity to manage a wide range of project types. In addition to staff and project management experience, the successful candidate will be engaged in pursuit teaming discussions and pursuit tracking, will be part of or lead a client management team, and will participate in proposal preparation and client presentations. We are looking for a candidate with significant experience in managing multi-discipline highway design projects including full reconstruction, new alignment, interchange, operational and safety improvement, and others. Key responsibilities will include oversight and reviews of product deliverables for all phases of highway plan development for our various transportation projects, as well as mentoring of engineering staff. Required Experience:

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering required
• A minimum of 11 years of relevant experience
• NJ PE is required -
• MicroStation, InRoads and Microsoft Office. AutoTAB is a plus
• Experience and working knowledge of New Jersey Turnpike Authority (NJTA) and NJDOT design standards, policies, and procedures is preferred.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills are required
• Determine scope of work and prepare man-hour estimates for highway engineering tasks
• Familiarity with scheduling software (Primavera) is a plus
• Quality control oversight for highway engineering tasks
• Maintain good employee relations and project communication with both internal and external clients
• Active participation in professional society activities encouraged
