Job Title:- Unix Support EngineerLocation:- Newark, NJLong Term ContractJob Description:-

• Overall 7+ Years of experience in Mindware & Dev-ops System Engineering - JBOSS, Tomcat, APACHE, MQ, RHEL, Unix
• Ability to build and troubleshoot Docker containers, experience with ECS, Kubernetes, or other container orchestration is preferred
• Automate the provisioning of environments with Terraform or CloudFormation
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain code repositories with Git
• Solid understanding of deploying and operating Linux variants in a containerized cloud environment
• Frequent technologies used in this role would be: AWS, Terraform, Docker, Python, Jenkins, Linux Shell Scripting, AWS CLI
• In-depth experience in handling Middleware software Migrations
• Good Understanding of Caching Solutions, Pivotal / Apache-Ignite would be an advantage.
• Must have proven prior experience in managing large middleware environments significantly at enterprise scale
• Must be well versed in generic administration tasks of managing Docker images, container networking and standard infrastructure maintenance tasks on Docker and Kubernetes platform
• Must have knowledge of Linux kernel options such as control groups and defining application groups to restrict resources
• Good Linux system administrator skills and TCP/IP network fundamentalsKey skills:
  • Unix Support Engineer with strong scripting (shell, python etc)
  • Windows support experience is a plus
  • JBOSS & Websphere system administration experience
  • Any experience with tools like Terraform, Kafka, AWS stack or other middleware tools is a plus
  • Banking is not a must, should have worked for IT industries.
  • Ideally need Young folks within 9-12Yrs folks. - provided by Dice
