Description Principal Accountabilities: Performs Mammographic and Bone Density exams; Performs Quality Control for Mammography to meet MQSA standards; Able to work independently and possesses strong critical thinking skills. Processes images using the PACS system. Complete and verify cases in a timely manner. Ensures work lists are cleaned up daily. Monitors and resolves Exceptions List daily. Proper utilization of the PenRad system. Assists with needle localizations and stereotactic biopsies as needed. Analyzes each acquired image for proper positioning, proper markers, date stickers, and appropriate labels and patient identification. Repeats image if presence of any factors that may deter from its diagnostic value Performs other related duties as assigned. Qualifications Required: 1. Associates Degree in an accredited RT Program or related field. 2. State RT license. 3. ARRT Mammography Certification. 4. CPR Certified. Relevant Experience: 1. Minimum 1 year of clinical experience as a staff technologist in Mammography or relevant area preferred Preferred: 1. Minimum of 200 mammography exams performed within past 24 months. 2. Certifications like ARDMS, BLS, RHM, CRT. LIAllied
