A contract position is available for a skilled Sign Language Interpreter specializing in telehealth services within an educational setting. This role demands expertise in American Sign Language interpretation to facilitate effective communication for students and staff through remote platforms. The position is based in Salem, OR, and operates on a 1099 contract basis. Responsibilities include: Providing high-quality sign language interpretation during telehealth sessions, ensuring clear and accurate communication between students, educators, and healthcare providers. Collaborating with educational and healthcare professionals to support accessibility and inclusion for Deaf and hard-of-hearing individuals. Maintaining confidentiality and adhering to ethical standards related to student information and communication. Adapting interpretation techniques to suit various virtual environments and the unique needs of each session.
