Santa Fe Centers is currently interviewing enthusiastic, energetic teachers who understand the developmental needs of children from infancy through 5 years of age. For a full time position, our educational team demands a teacher who can evaluate individual and ongoing needs and supports a philosophy of exploration, activity and independence. Our job description for the Teaching Assistant may include but are not limited to: Has completed or will complete required in-service training staff development. Associates Degree or BA in Early Childhood Education or shows progress towards an early childhood degree or a CDA. Engages with the children on the floor, participates in games and activities at their developmental level and encourages them to participate. Promotes the development of language, thinking and problem-solving skills, curiosity, and exploration, gross and fine motor skills. Identifies children's needs and cooperates with other professionals in identifying and addressing health and learning issues. Able to assist with regular developmental assessment and anecdotal notes.
