Job Description Job Description Job Overview As the Fire Safety
Alarms Service Coordinator, you will be assisting the Service
Department with all services provided to our customers. The Service
Department is responsible for all aspects of customer contracts,
invoicing, time and material, service and maintenance as well as
overseeing the daily job schedule. Responsibilities Assess and
anticipate the service needs of customers and schedule technicians
accordingly Assess customer issues and provide recommendations to
address problems Ensure each customer is given the necessary
services and follow up to fulfill ongoing service and maintenance
needs Daily communication with customers regarding their current or
upcoming services Document customer communication to maintain
accurate schedules, contracts and invoicing Monitor daily schedule
to ensure that there are no gaps in services or missed service
calls Answer telephones and respond to email inquiries in a timely
manner Ensure all superintendents/building management are satisfied
with our quality of workmanship, service, response time and
professionalism. Ensure FSA field technicians are operating in the
most efficient manner possible Maximize billable hours/Minimize
downtime/non billable hours Work with Inventory Department to
ensure all jobsites have necessary equipment to perform assigned
tasks Ensure technicians are on time and prepared for their day
Create, coordinate and schedule all FSA maintenance visits Maintain
precise and accurate customer contracts for service, maintenance
and renewals. Qualifications, Skills and Core Competencies 1-3
years related experience including Fire Alarm Field Technician or
Service, Dispatch, Customer Service, Call Center Prior experience
with a fire alarm or alarm company is preferred Knowledge of fire
alarm panel, Edwards Systems preferred Contract management or
Account management experience a plus Strong knowledge of invoicing
and basic accounting Excellent customer service and problem-solving
skills Impeccable attention to detail - keen eye for meticulous
accuracy The ability to work well under deadlines and to multitask
Excellent verbal and written communication skills Excellent
critical thinking and problem-solving skills Ability to read, write
and speak English clearly and articulately Strong telephone skills
and etiquette High School Diploma required, College Degree a plus
Proficient technology skills in Microsoft Office, including
Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel Experience with Business
Central, Service Fusion, Paylocity a plus Company Description Fire

founded by several Chief Officers of the New York Fire Department
in 1979. The company was originally located in Manhattan when the
scope of work was confined to fire protection consulting services
with high-rise commercial buildings. We specialized in obtaining
waiver/modifications of Local Law 5/73, preparing timetables of
compliance, and conducting assessments of high rise properties. In
1981, FSA moved to Jersey City and expanded operations to include
fire protection engineering, fire alarm design, inspection and fire
alarm installation pursuant to the High Rise Fire Safety Law known
as Local Law 5/73. In 2024, FSA moved to Newark, NJ to expand its
office space. FSA is licensed by the State of New York for Security
and Fire Alarm Systems, License No.12000028978, and the State of
