Description: Tague Lumber is seeking a Yardman for our Kennett Square yard. This is a hands-on position ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, assisting customers, and being part of a team that takes pride in safety, organization, and quality service. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: * Meet and greet customers and assist them with the loading of materials * Accurately pull and stage materials to be picked up or delivered * Keep the yard clean and organized * Properly use equipment, including forklifts * Follow all safety procedures Requirements: * Previous experience in a customer service environment * Forklift experience required * Familiarity with building materials is helpful * Ability to lift 50 pounds, frequently * Must have a valid driver's license * Pass a background check, physical, and drug screening * Basic reading, writing and arithmetic skills required Working Conditions: This position is based in a warehouse and outdoor yard environment and involves frequent lifting (including above shoulder height), walking, bending, standing, and carrying materials.
