Public Service Enterprise Group (PSEG) is a publicly traded (NYSE:PEG) diversified energy company headquartered in New Jersey, and one of the ten largest electric companies in the U.S. PSEG is seeking a Social Media/Digital Analytics Intern at our Newark NJ location. This position will be supporting the Social Media/Digital Analytics in the Customer Technology area. This team works in our social media channels, mostly Facebook and Twitter, and responds to customer inquiries and concerns. We strive to help every customer that reaches out to us in a timely manner. The other responsibility of the team are digital analytics. All the digital channel analytics are developed and maintained in this group. We work mainly with Google Analytics 360 and Sitecore Analytics as well as SAP and Salesforce. Job Responsibilities may include but are not limited to: Monitor social media channels for customer needs and brand concerns. Perform routine social media tagging, user management, and conversation management tasks Testing new website tagging and maintaining tagging documentation for Google Analytics and Sitecore Analytics Assist digital product teams test system changes, particularly with regard to the analytics associated with each product Propose and collaborate on the creation of content for digital products, subject to review and approval Support our understanding of customer behavior on digital channels through reporting and analytics Optimization Techniques - Personalization and A/B testing Required Education/Skills: The successful candidate (s) must be actively pursuing a Bachelor s Degree from an accredited institution in Computer Science, Marketing, Communications, or similar related major with a minimum GPA of 3.0 Candidates must have completed sophomore level course work for consideration. PSEG recognizes institutions of higher education which are accredited by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation or equivalent. GPA information MUST be included on your resume for employment consideration. All PSEG internship roles are paid at an hourly rate, however there are no benefits associated with these positions. Candidates are expected to work 40 hours per week over the summer period for the full 10-12 week period. We are targeting: Currently enrolled students with GPA of 3.0, staying in the NJ/NY/PA metro area for the duration of the internship and able to commute to the assigned work location.
