Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Tax Accountant to drive tax compliance and optimization across multiple corporate entities. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and review comprehensive tax returns (federal, state, local, income, sales, motor fuel, property) Develop strategic tax planning approaches in collaboration with external advisors Conduct proactive tax research to identify regulatory impacts and opportunities Manage quarterly and annual tax provision calculations Support tax audits and resolve complex tax-related discrepancies Collaborate across teams to ensure accurate financial reporting Continuously improve tax processes and internal controls Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting 3-5 years tax accounting experience Advanced knowledge of tax laws and accounting principles Expert-level Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, complex formulas) Strong analytical and communication capabilities Proficient in Microsoft 365 Detail-oriented with exceptional problem-solving skills
