You will also be part of transformative internal processes including but not limited to a new software implementation. Job Details Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Commercial Real Estate experience is required. CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or equivalent certification is preferred. Significant experience in real estate accounting experience Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and hands-on experience with accrual-based, monthly-close processes. Experience with real estate software like Yardi or MRI. Proficiency in real estate accounting software and Microsoft Excel. Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Experience with lease accounting standards and regulations, particularly ASC 842. Ability to prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and forecasts. Familiarity with tax compliance in the real estate industry. Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
