long-standing client in the Fairfield County area who is seeking a
strategic and results-driven Vice President of Financial Planning
and Analysis (VP FP&A) to lead our financial planning,
forecasting, and analytical efforts. This executive role will play
a pivotal part in driving financial performance, informing
executive decision-making, and supporting company-wide growth
initiatives. Key Responsibilities Strategic Financial Leadership
Lead the FP&A function, providing strategic financial insights
to senior leadership and Board of Directors. Partner with the CFO
and executive team to develop long-term financial strategies
aligned with corporate objectives. Planning & Forecasting Oversee
the annual budgeting process, long-range planning, and rolling
forecasts. Develop robust financial models, scenario planning
tools, and key performance indicators (KPIs). Business Performance
Analysis Deliver high-impact analysis on business drivers,
variances, and profitability. Provide timely reporting and insight
into financial and operational performance across business units.
Cross-Functional Collaboration Act as a strategic advisor to
department heads, supporting data-driven decision-making and
resource allocation. Collaborate with Accounting, Operations, and
Strategy teams to ensure alignment and accurate reporting. Team
Leadership Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing FP&A team.
Promote a culture of financial accountability, innovation, and
continuous improvement. Investor & Board Support Support investor
relations through financial analysis, investor materials, and
quarterly earnings prep. Prepare presentations and financial
materials for executive and board meetings. Desired Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related
field (MBA or CPA preferred). 10 years of progressive finance
experience, including leadership roles in FP&A. Proven track
record of driving financial performance in a complex or high-growth
environment. Deep understanding of financial modeling, business
analytics, and corporate finance. Strong executive presence with
excellent communication and presentation skills. Advanced
proficiency in financial systems and Excel. Comfort working in both
private and public company settings. This is a hybrid position
based in Stamford, CT offering a salary of $150,000-$165,000
depending on experience.
