We are in search of a determined Full Charge Bookkeeper for our client. As the Full Charge Bookkeeper, you will administer month-end close, cash flow, financial statement preparation, audit, full cycle A/P, payroll, bank reconciliations, and journal entries. The Full Charge Bookkeeper will also supervise the clerical staff. MUST HAVES: QuickBooks and PC Law.This permanent employment opportunity is based in the Newark, New Jersey area. Don't wait - apply today!Your responsibilities in this role- Provide monthly reconciliations, financial statements and all supporting documents- Oversee Accounts Receivable- Update Accounts Payable- Sort sales tax records and create and file quarterly payments- Clarify business license and gross receipts- Conduct monthly accounting close- Produce subcontractor 1099's, and any other IRS year-end requirement- Arrange cash flow projections, as needed- Mark budget transfers- Accomplished in credit card management and reconciliation- Work on special projects occasionally- Generate cash account journal entries including loans, taxes, bank fees, 401(k) deductions, etc.
