What You'll Contribute The Senior Manager, Campaign Strategy will work collaboratively with the Marketing Channel Team and the SLM Lead Generation team to ensure accuracy and maximization of all marketing activities. The individual represents the Analytics team, owning the relationships with both groups. The Senior Manager will lead or assist in all marketing tactics, most specifically in the overall understanding of Direct Marketing targeting and strategy via Email and Direct Mail, providing recommendations for budget decisions and process improvements. The individual will be expected to proactively identify new opportunities, tactics, and/or modifications to improve the current suite of activities. The individual will assist in creating the strategy and be responsible for reading results from the Customer Direct Mail and Email campaigns. This person will be responsible for working with outside agencies to align on analytics for these tactics. The individual will maximize SLM marketing lead potential and efficiency by partnering with the Lead Generation team to drive process changes and improvements. They are expected to oversee the research and analysis of all issues related to Customer Email and Direct Mail lead generation and marketing campaigns. They are expected to have experience in marketing analytics. The individual must possess strong leadership skills and be able to work autonomously and effectively in a dynamic and changing work environment. Communication and prioritization skills are a must, as is the ability to present information, strategy, and recommendations clearly and succinctly internal teams and management. What You'll Do Analytic Support 30% Develops business requirements for testing within Customer Email and Direct Mail Reads results of all campaigns by utilizing data from multiple SQL tables Proactively produces insightful analytics to drive the business forward Strategic Management 20% Provides strategy recommendations for marketing Becomes an expert that engages in multiple cross-functional projects and business conversations Process Improvement 20% Researches optimal methods to identify marketing populations most accurately Acts as liaison between business and IT to ensure clear and accurate communication Identifies opportunities in segmentation and strategy behind targeting Ad-hoc Requests 20% Serves as subject matter expert in all marketing targeting rules, campaigns, and definitions Applies creativity in problem-solving Helps respond to inquiries about specific targeted populations or opportunities Self-Development 10% Takes an active role in identifying potential new data sources and ways to analyze Develops expert level knowledge of all data sources and business tactics Presents information in a manner that is clear to the target audience What You Have Minimum: Indicate minimum education, skills and experience required. BS in Business, Finance, Economics, Marketing, or related field and/or equivalent experience 5+ years of quantitative experience 5+ years of experience on marketing analytics 5+ years of experience utilizing SAS/SQL to produce data insights and performance analyses Proficient in MS Office including Excel and PowerPoint Demonstrated ability to create and maintain effective business area partnerships Excellent oral and written communication skills with ability to articulate complex analytics Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in a time-sensitive environment Excellent project management skills Highly motivated, proactive, resourceful, with ability to work cross-functionally Ability to accurately identify issues, implement resolutions, and escalate to management Preferred Master's in Applied Statistics The Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 (ADA) prohibits discrimination by employers, in compensation and employment opportunities, against qualified individuals with disabilities who, with or without reasonable accommodation, can perform the "essential functions" of a job.
