For more than 30 years, MetroPlus has been committed to building strong relationships with its members and providers to enable New Yorkers to live their healthiest life.--Position OverviewDirectly Assists the Medical Accounts Payable Supervisor, by performing claim disbursement, premium collection,provider refunds and analysis functions, as directed. No staff reports to this position.Job DescriptionAssists with premium collections and processes of all lines of business. Ensure all EFT, Credit card, and internal payments are entered and reconciled.Enters and reconciles premium collections into Medibill to ensure enrollees become eligible to achieve and maintain enrollment.Utilizes multiple systems including PowerStepp, Medibill, JPMorgan, Orbital, to compile and analyze member data and resolve issues.Assists in identifying recurring financial and operational issues related to Medical and Capitation payments.Maintains production and accuracy requirements of the unit.Responsible for filing and scanning.Distributes and monitors weekly check run and monthly capitation payments.Maintains and tracks provider and member payments returned to MetroPlus as undeliverable and coordinates resolution with Provider Maintenance, IT, Claims, Enrollment and Customer Service staff.Handles the reprinting of provider EOBs as required.Assists with premium posting.Supporting Controller's unit, as assigned, during peak activity times and in support of other staff during their time off.Responsible for other dutiesMinimum QualificationsAssociates Degree or at least two years of related experienceAdministrative, finance, payment, accounting processing experience or an equivalent combination of training, education, and experience in related fields.Analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to multitaskMust have ability to work in a team environmentMicrosoft Word and ExcelProfessional CompetenciesIntegrity and TrustCustomer FocusFunctional/Technical skillsWritten/Oral Communication
