• Ensure that software is developed to meet functional, non-functional, and compliance requirements.
• Code solutions, unit testing, and ensure solutions can be integrated successfully into overall applications/systems with clear, robust and well-tested interfaces.
• Contribute to story refinement/defining requirements.
• Participate in estimating work necessary to realize a story/requirement through the delivery lifecycle.
• Perform spike/proof of concept as necessary to mitigate risk and implement new ideas.
• Utilize multiple architectural components across data and applications in the design and development of client requirements.
• Resolve technical complexities involved in realizing story work.
• Contribute to existing test suites supporting integration, regression and performance.
• Design and develop solution architectures to scale backend systems using Python, Java, Spring Boot, and rest specifications.
• Utilize full stack engineering, Linux, coding and debugging.
• Design and develop production ready software using web, cloud, and distributed technologies such as Apache Spark, Hadoop, Microservices, and CI/CD cloud deployment.
• Design and develop new proof of concept projects to enhance current software systems to handle increased traffic and larger datasets with cutting edge technologies such as Elasticsearch, Redis, and Kafka.
• Remote work may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite.REQUIREMENTS:
  • Master's degree or equivalent in Engineering (any), Computer Science, CIS, MIS or related; and
  • 3 years of experience in the job offered or a related IT occupation.
  • Must include 3 years of experience in each of the following:
  • Designing and developing solution architectures to scale backend systems using Python, Java, Spring Boot and rest specifications;
  • Utilizing full stack engineering, Linux, coding and debugging;
  • Designing and developing production ready software using web, cloud and distributed technologies such as Apache Spark, Hadoop, Microservices, and CI/CD cloud deployment; and,
